Last Saturday 25 th of February it was opened in the Gallery Owada of the Cultural Center of Shibuya in Tokyo, the exhibition from the Tokyo International photo Awards (TIFA) in Japan, where the series “Lighting Clothes” by Ramón Vaquero was awarded on its first edition with the First prize in the category advertising professional, and Gold in the section of Advertising / beauty. The series was therefore selected for the official exhibition.
The purpose of the Tokyo International photo Awards is to recognize, reward and expose the talent of the photographers from all over the world and present them to the creative community in Japan.
In today's Edition, the journal Faro de Vigo has published an article in reference to the awards in the Tokyo International photo Awards, the ND Awards in London and the Los Angeles IPA. It can be seen in the section of culture/society in the print edition, and on the cover in the digital Edition. See more
The series “Lighting Clothes” has been awarded again internationally in the first edition of the Tokyo International photo Awards (TIFA) in Japan: Absolute Winner with the first prize in the professional category of advertising, and Gold in the section of Advertising / beauty. In addition, the three pictures are among the selected group of chosen for the TIFA exhibition that will be held in Tokyo.
These two new awards were added to the granted recently to this same series in the Angeles, London and Barcelona, as well as individually to one of the photographs in New York, Calella (Barcelona) and the Netherlands.
For the fourth time, series “Lighting Clothes” has been awarded internationally (for the photography of the Center is already the eighth award, and the other two have been published on covers). On this occasion are two awards at the prestigious ND Awards 2016 London: Silver Star in advertising / beauty, and Honorable Mention on the section Fine Art, both in the category Professional.
The Organization of the International Photography Awards in Los Angeles has drawn up a list with their 10 best beauty photographers.
In addition to the recent award of the Prize IPA in picture of advertising / beauty, we thank for the inclusion of Ramon Vaquero on this prestigious list.

New international award for the series “Lighting Clothes”, this time at the prestigious International Photography Awards™ 2016 from Los Angeles in the section professional advertising photography- beauty, awarded with the second prize.

We have received a few days ago the Edition 2016 from the catalogs of the Trierenberg Super Circuit, that include three of my nine selected photographs, including the one awarded with the Medal of gold in the “Red” Special Theme: Trierenberg awarded image 2016
Catalogs consist of two volumes: one corresponding to the classic Trierenber Super Circuit and the other to Special Themes Circuit. They reproduce a selection of images awarded and submitted to the contest of the highest quality and variety of genres.
Congratulations to the team of the Trierenberg Super Circuit and Fotoforum for their fantastic work on this edition, and to all those photographers award-winning and published with excellent works.

The prestigious three-yearly magazine Nikon Pro has dedicated its Home from this Spring European issue to one of my award-winning photographs with the Silver Lux in Fashion and Beauty in the last edition of 2015.
Although Nikon Pro had already published some of my images on five previous occasions, this is the first time they choose to promote my work on their “desired” and selective cover.
The magazine is published in five languages and 29 countries, both in printed edition as digital for iPad and Android.

The night of the 18 November took place at the Auditorio Axa aged Barcelona the gala for the XXIII National Awards of Professional Photography LUX 2015, where I was honored to receive the prestigious Silver LUX in the Fashion and beauty.

A few days ago we received the excellent catalogue of the Trofeu Torretes of photography within the Calella Festimatge2015 where we had the great pleasure of attending last April, to collect the FIAP Gold Medal for color photography. Design, layout and reproduction of the catalogue are excellent.
Thank you very much again to the entire organization and the Festimatge Trofeu Torretes of photography for this award, their hospitality and the great work with this catalog of photography, you have really improved it this year.
This photo have been finalist in the contest Tolosa Herria 2015 held in the Basque country and organized by the Association Targazki. Had already been previously awarded in international competitions such as the Trierenberg Super Circuit of Austria, the Bristol Salon of Photography or the Holland International Image Circuit, becoming cover of the catalogue of the latter. Or published in the prestigious Nikon Pro Magazine in its European edition of the summer of 2013:

Hace unos días, al no haber podido asistir a la ceremonia de entrega en su momento, recibimos la Medalla de Oro de la Confederación Española de Fotografía dentro del Festimatge de Calella2014 celebrado el pasado mes de abril, junto con el catálogo donde se publican dos de las fotografías de Ramon Vaquero, una de ellas la que resultó premiada en la sección Monocromo. De las ocho obras presentadas, siete resultaron seleccionadas.

Parece que la última tendencia de los certámenes europeos es poner una fotografía de Ramón Vaquero en las portadas de sus catálogos…
Bromas aparte, uno de los motivos principales del acto de hacer fotografías es mostrarlas, que sean vistas con la mayor atención posible. En nuestra opinión, existen pocos soportes mejores para esto que una portada impresa.
Un placer que dos veces en el mismo año sean escogidas dos imágenes de la misma sesión en publicaciones de diferentes países para sus portadas: la primera fue en el Holland International Image Circuit, y la que se muestra aquí corresponde al catálogo del Bristol Salon of Photography 2014. Es una de las dos imágenes que fue premiada en la edición de este año .
El próximo 30 de marzo se abre el International Image Salon Oldenzaal, parte del Holland Circuit.
Nuevamente han elegido una de mis imágenes premiadas para el cartel oficial. Como ya se ha publicado, esta fotografía ha recibido en el Holland Circuit dos premios: Mención de Honor FIAP (9th Image Salon Delft 2014) , y el Premio Adicional FC Oldenzaal (9th Int. Image Salon Oldenzaal 2014).
